"Everblue" Sea view apt in the heart of the city

Good location near the old town and port Positive: This was a good place for our situation: just two nights, with a rental car, and wanting mostly to visit the museum and the old town (and not drive). The view of the port and the fort was a great bonus. Trying to bring the rental car into the city would have been a bad idea, so this location (on the edge of the city but right at the harbor by the old town) seemed ideal, and it was. The host suggested paid parking - we used Seaside Parking just to the west, a short walk, and left our car there for the duration. The owner had somebody meet us at the apartment, and he showed us everything about it, which was nice, especially since this is not a hotel. The apartment is big, and is right over a noisy street with busy restaurants. Pro tip: all of the windows have metal storm blinds that can be cranked down, which muffle the sound quite a bit. In fact, this apartment was like puzzle room, with many lighting fixtures and switches, and a kitchen unit with fold-out doors, and the double blinds. I would rather have been back in the mountains, but I would choose this place again if returning to the city. Negative: A minor thing: on arrival we had no idea where the entrance to the building is, as it looks like a utility door. I think the owners are so used to it that they forgot to specify the exact door. We were confused, dragging our bags back and forth at first. No big deal.
